Photo portfolios showcased online during pandemic

CMC Spring Valley hosts prototype lab opening, student portfolio show

A new prototype lab at Colorado Mountain College Spring Valley will provide students from the college’s Isaacson School for Communication, Arts and Media more learning opportunities in photography, digital media and graphic design. An example of the practical, yet visually intriguing, lab is this “wrench bench.” A grand opening, student portfolio show and a discussion about the influence of the Bauhaus movement will take place May 2 at the campus. Colorado Mountain College student photographer Dustin Gregory earned a photo illustration award of excellence for his image, “Layers of Time: Day to Night in Canyonlands” in the 2018 international College Photographer of the Year competition.
