Colorado Mountain College in-person, limited commencements set for May 7, 8

Colorado Mountain College will celebrate the accomplishments of its graduates during in-person commencement ceremonies on May 7 and 8. COVID-19 restrictions set by the county where each ceremony is held will be followed to ensure the health and safety of those in attendance.

CMC Steamboat student honored as 2020 Colorado TRIO Achiever

Selected from thousands of students, Eleysa Schofield, here at Lookout Mountain above Golden, has been named a Colorado TRIO Achiever award recipient. With help from Colorado Mountain College Steamboat Springs and TRIO, a federal student support program, Schofield is completing an associate degree and is working towards a bachelor’s at the Steamboat campus.

Leading with a purpose

In spring 2020 Patricia Herrera gave the student address and graduated from CMC Vail Valley with a bachelor’s degree in leadership and management. She plans to use what she’s learned to support others in attaining their own successes.
