Colorado Mountain College in-person, limited commencements set for May 7, 8

Colorado Mountain College will celebrate the accomplishments of its graduates during in-person commencement ceremonies on May 7 and 8. COVID-19 restrictions set by the county where each ceremony is held will be followed to ensure the health and safety of those in attendance.

In spring 2020 Patricia Herrera gave the student address and graduated from CMC Vail Valley with a bachelor’s degree in leadership and management. She plans to use what she’s learned to support others in attaining their own successes.

In May Ali Henry graduated from CMC Breckenridge with a bachelor’s degree in sustainability studies. She said attending Colorado Mountain College “made me a better and much more educated human being.”

Maggie Friemel graduated from Glenwood Springs High School and from CMC Spring Valley at the same time. She'll be studying nuclear engineering at the University of New Mexico in the fall.

Next course of study is the nuclear engineering program at the University of New Mexico

Barth on track to becoming a nurse

Sadie Barth of Glenwood Springs received an associate degree, with high honors, from Colorado Mountain College the same month that she earned her high school diploma. She has been accepted into CMC’s nursing program and will start there in fall 2020.
