Learn about teaching careers at CMC information sessions

Colorado Mountain College Glenwood Springs and Edwards will host information sessions for those interested in earning a bachelor’s degree in elementary education and pursuing a teaching career.

The college offers a Bachelor of Arts in interdisciplinary studies: elementary education, leading to a dual licensure in elementary education as well as culturally and linguistically diverse education. According to a recent report from Colorado’s Office of Economic Development, teachers are in high demand in the state. Locally, teachers with dual licensure in these areas are especially needed.

Those interested in discovering more about a teaching career in elementary education are encouraged to attend an information session at 5:30 p.m. on Aug. 2 at Colorado Mountain College Glenwood Springs, Glenwood Center, 1402 Blake Ave., Room 209.

A second session will be held at 5:30 p.m. on Aug. 4 at Colorado Mountain College Vail Valley at Edwards, 150 Miller Ranch Road, Room 204.
