Colorado Mountain College in Breckenridge will host the Collective Biodiesel Conference August 15 -18. Speakers at the conference will discuss topics ranging from community scale biodiesel production to biodiesel mobile station co-op building, offering a wealth of how-to information on biodiesel from individuals engaged in the field.
The conference kicks off Thursday night, August 15th, with a free screening of the independent documentary film Empowered, Power From the People followed by a speaker presentation. The film tells the story of the community of Tompkins County, NY, which is working to meet their total energy needs through completely renewable resources, and screens at 6 PM at CMC in Breckenridge.
