CMC Steamboat Springs wins “Business of the Year” Navigator Award

Colorado Mountain College in Steamboat Springs has been awarded the Steamboat Resort Chamber and Steamboat Pilot and Today’s Navigator Award as Steamboat’s “Business of the Year.”

Each year, the Steamboat Chamber and local newspaper recognize the accomplishments  of outstanding Chamber members by presenting the awards to one local business, one young professional and one individual who stand out as leaders in the business community. The annual awards present an opportunity for the Steamboat community to recognize the business practices of successful entrepreneurs and companies.

“The nominating committee was deeply impressed with CMC’s recent building addition to the campus, and the expansion in your educational programs that are directly related to the workforce needs of our community,” said Tom Kern, CEO of the Steamboat Springs Chamber Resort Association, in a notification letter to CMC Steamboat Springs Campus Vice President Dr. Peter Perhac.

The award will be presented on Friday, October 26th, at the Chamber’s Annual Luncheon and Navigator Awards at the Sheraton Steamboat.
