First and second year nursing students from CMC Spring Valley recently handed Lindsay Gould, above, of the Angel Tree program an envelope filled with $1,140. The donation benefits underprivileged children throughout the Roaring Fork Valley region. Specifically, the nursing students’ donation ensures that 38 local children will have presents under the tree. “We strive to become outstanding role models,” nursing student Hannah Schanfarber explained. “By embracing our role in the community, we hope to allow continual community trust and support of Colorado Mountain College and future students of the nursing program.”
