Josh Loubek of Boise was one of the first people to ski like a snowboarder.
Now he’s playing a key role in taking that idea global as the head judge for the new men’s and women’s ski slopestyle and ski halfpipe events at the Sochi Olympics. His first event is women’s ski slopestyle Tuesday.
“I’m really excited for the world to get to see the sport,” Loubek said. “We always joke when we’re talking to people about what we do — at the very end, they say, ‘Oh, so you’re a snowboarder.’ Click for full article
