Opening reception on October 14th
Recent professional photography work by Colorado Mountain College graduate Elizabeth Moreno will be on display in October and November at the college’s gallery in downtown Glenwood Springs.
Born and raised in La Paz, Baja California Sur, México, Moreno moved to the U.S. in 2002 to study and obtained an Associate in Applied Science degree in professional photography at Colorado Mountain College in 2005. Before she’d even graduated, her photographs were selected for the Photo District News Photo Annual 2006.
In Colorado, she worked in the fine art printing field and as an intern and lab tech at the Anderson Ranch Arts Center in Snowmass Village. In 2008, she moved back to La Paz to work on personal documentary projects.
Her photos will be on exhibit Oct. 7-Nov. 29 at the CMC Gallery, 831 Grand Ave. An opening reception is set for Friday, Oct. 14, at 5 p.m. The gallery is open weekdays from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. and operated by CMC ArtShare.
