Colorado Mountain College Aspen will host an artists’ reception for “Superstratum” Feb. 5, featuring the work of four diverse Roaring Fork Valley artists. The reception is free and community members are welcome and encouraged to attend.

“Stratum,” which informs the theme for this exhibit, is Latin for “layer.” Works on display include ceramics, paintings, prints and mixed media.

H.P. Bloomer, Reina Katzenberger, Kaitlyn Getz Ozminkowski and Andrew Roberts-Gray are the featured artists.

The public reception will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. on Feb. 5, with a brief artists’ talk at 6 p.m., at the CMC Aspen Art Gallery, Aspen Business Center, 0255 Sage Way.
