Colorado Mountain College wins prestigious industry awards

Colorado Mountain College recently earned recognition from regional chapters of both the National Council for Marketing and Public Relations and the Council for Advancement and Support of Education.

The college’s annual progress report from last year, the First Choice Review, earned regional awards from both organizations – gold from CASE and silver from NCMPR. The First Choice Review is a publication that performs double duty as an annual report for the CMC Foundation and as a way to inform the community, students and donors about achievements of the college, its faculty and its students.

Additionally, NCMPR awarded the CMC marketing team a gold award for their efforts in electronic media and social marketing, and honored the college’s public information office with silver in feature writing for their press release highlighting the college’s national top 20 ranking by CNNMoney and College Measures.

CASE is an international organization that serves to advance educational professionals in the fields of communications, public relations, marketing, alumni relations and development. NCMPR is a national organization that supports the professional growth of marketing and public relations professionals at community and technical colleges.
