On Tuesday, April 5, 2016, the Summit School District held its 26th annual High School Scholarship Night. Nearly $370,000 in scholarships were awarded to 93 different students over the course of the evening. CMC Summit Campus Vice President Dave Askeland, CMC Regional Development Officer Candy Elkind and CMC Foundation Grant & Scholarship Coordinator Kathy Desportes were on hand to present a Bright Futures Scholarship for Pre-collegiate Graduates to Javier Saenz and Vincente Ramos and the Theobald Family Scholarship to Cyndy Dzib Ciau. Summit County Alpine Bank Regional Marketing Coordinator Jamie Dicks presented Alpine Bank Latino/Hispanic Scholarships to seniors Dariela Flores Alvarado and Suleyma Martinez-Lopez, and a Bright Futures Scholarship for Pre-collegiate graduates to Vicente Ramos.
