Veterans honored with reduced tuition at Colorado Mountain College

Special CMC website inform veterans about classes on-site or online

Active-duty military, veterans, and their spouses and dependents now receive Colorado Mountain College’s low in-district tuition – no matter where they live. The college offers the discounted rate as a show of gratitude for military service and sacrifice.

With in-district tuition rates of $56-$95 per credit hour, depending on the level of courses taken, CMC was named by the U.S. Department of Education as the nation’s third-most-affordable public college offering bachelor’s degrees.

A network of small campuses across north-central Colorado, CMC is well positioned to help former and current members of the military translate their experience into college credit. Many classes are available online, making it easier for working students to earn an occupational certificate or take classes toward an associate or bachelor’s degree, without sacrificing needed income.

Veterans or active-duty military can visit CMC’s veteran admissions website at: https://coloradomtn.info/web/admissions/veterans_military. In addition to spelling out admissions requirements for prospective students, the site offers information on potential VA benefits, including those resulting from the Post 9/11 GI Bill.

The spring semester at Colorado Mountain College begins the week of Jan. 13, but some classes start later. To find out more, visit https://coloradomtn.info/web/classes or call 1-800-621-8559 or your local campus.
