In a teleconference meeting on Dec. 27, the Colorado Mountain College Board of Trustees accepted the resignation of college President Dr. Stan Jensen. After the meeting Glenn Davis, president of the board of trustees, issued the following statement:
“With regret the Board of Trustees of Colorado Mountain College has accepted the resignation of Dr. Stanley Jensen.
As a board all of us wish to sincerely thank Dr. Jensen for his dedicated service to our College and to the students and constituents we serve. Each of us is impressed with Dr. Jensen’s focus on the future, his innovative thinking and his tireless enthusiasm for what is best for students.
While Dr. Jensen’s accomplishments are too extensive to cover in this brief statement it is my pleasure to point out just a few of his achievements.
It was Dr. Jensen’s vision that catapulted Colorado Mountain College’s authorization to offer bachelor’s degrees. The Isaacson School for New Media was founded under Jensen and the beautiful $24,000,000 academic center in Steamboat Springs was completed under his direction.
The Trustees wish to express our most sincere wish that the blessings of continued success will accompany Dr. Jensen in all that he chooses to do for higher education in the future, and we thank him for the positive difference he has made in all of the communities we serve.”
