RIFLE – The Empty Bowls Fundraiser scheduled for March 18 at Grand River Health Ballroom, Rifle, is postponed as part of the precautionary measures in place at Grand River Health due to concerns surrounding the COVID-19 virus. Grand River Health and Colorado Mountain College both affirm that the priority is the health and safety of our communities, including seniors, patients, students and staff.
This is in response to the ongoing international threat of COVID-19, which is often hardest on the elderly.
Thank you to all the restaurants that have stepped up to be a part: Miner’s Claim in Silt, Tee’d Off Bar and Grill in Parachute, and Wing Nutz Bar and Grill, Be Healthy Stay Fit Bistro, and Whistle Pig Coffee Stop & Cafe in Rifle, as well as Grand River Health Café and the Care Center.
Stay posted as organizers hope to reschedule later in 2020.
