Native Texan Jim Calaway used to own a condo in Aspen, but when it came time to move to Colorado full-time, he was like many others who decided he preferred a cheaper down-valley life.
He chose to live in a comfortable but by Aspen standards modest home in Carbondale rather spending tens of millions of dollars on something similar in the resort town.
“I decided I wanted to live more in the country. It was 20-dollar hamburgers up there. It didn’t appeal to me,” Calaway says. Click for full article
