“Bilateral Theory” by Matthew Eames and Savannah LaBauve, a 10”x10” ceramic piece, is part of the “Mutual Makers” exhibit at CMC Aspen.

Colorado Mountain College will present an opening reception for “Mutual Makers: An Exhibition of Colorado Mountain College Art and New Media Faculty and Staff and Guest Artists,” highlighting the work of over 30 artists at Colorado Mountain College Aspen on Feb. 6.

This multimedia exhibition will feature works made by CMC art and new media faculty and their invited guest artists. Some of the “artist pairs” have collaborated on the work they will present. Others will exhibit their individual work side by side.

The “Mutual Makers” opening reception will be held 5-7 p.m., at CMC Aspen, 0255 Sage Way at the Aspen Business Center. Admission is free and the public is invited and encouraged to attend. Artwork will remain at the campus through May 9; call 970-925-7740 for gallery hours, as classes are often scheduled in the gallery space.
