Glenn Davis, president of the Colorado Mountain College Board of Trustees and trustee for Eagle County, recently received kudos for both his contributions to his community and for the work he does every day.

Davis has been a long-time officer of Alpine Bank, where for more than 14 years he has held the position of regional president over the bank’s Eagle and Routt County markets. He was recently promoted to chief retail officer, overseeing all retail functions of 37 locations of Alpine Bank.

The Ski & Snowboard Club Vail also recently acknowledged Davis at their annual President’s Dinner by granting him the prestigious Zella Gorsuch Memorial Award, which since 1977 has also been granted to U.S. Olympians Lindsey Vonn and Mikaela Shiffrin, as well as to Vail co-founder and former Austrian National Ski Team Member Pepi Gramshammer, among others.

The club distributed a press release, which said in part:

“The SSCV community could not be what it is without the many adults who stand by to support its athletes and its mission. As such, several adults were honored at the President’s Dinner. SSCV Board Chair and recognized business and community leader Glenn Davis received the Zella Gorsuch Memorial Award given in recognition of the person with the greatest contribution to the advancement of skiing in the Vail area.”
