Get Smart at Colorado Mountain College

Campaign shows the great benefits of learning local at CMC

Photo of CMC's SMART campaign graphicThis week, Colorado Mountain College begins the Smart campaign outreach to local high school seniors and their parents. This campaign is designed to promote the affordable and high quality education students can receive at CMC.

High school seniors and parents will be receiving mailings and emails telling them about the advantages of a CMC education. They’ll learn about the amazing students who have started here and gone on to great things: a Fulbright scholar, a PhD in DNA sequencing, honor students at prestigious schools, Boettcher scholars and more. They’ll also learn about the high cost of student debt. Financial aid often comes in the form of student loans that can seriously burden students’ lives after college. The Project on Student debt shows that the average graduate from a four-years college in Colorado is saddled with $24,540 in debt.

The message of the Smart campaign is that Colorado Mountain College can change that. CMC can keep local students out of crushing debt and provide them with solid learning. Mailings and emails with this dual message will be supplemented with Facebook ads and banners hung many in local HS gyms.
