Free screening of award-winning documentary at CMC-Breckenridge

Poster for the film "Chasing Ice"Colorado Mountain College in Breckenridge will present a free screening of the award-winning documentary “Chasing Ice” on Wednesday, Aug. 28, at 7 p.m. in the Eileen & Paul Finkel Auditorium.

“Chasing Ice” was shot by acclaimed environmental photographer James Balog, who through his Extreme Ice Survey in the Arctic discovered undeniable evidence of a changing planet. Balog deployed revolutionary time-lapse cameras to capture a multiyear record of the world’s changing glaciers. “Chasing Ice” has won more than 30 awards at film festivals around the world, including a Sundance Film Festival award for Excellence in Cinematography for a U.S. documentary.

The film will be shown at Colorado Mountain College in Breckenridge, 107 Denison Placer Rd. This event is free and open to the public.
