First Choice ads showcase quality at CMC

Latest ad tells of excellent preparation for Battle Mountain HS Grad
Colorado Mountain College is running a six-month ad campaign to show how quality and excellence permeates our students, staff and faculty. In partnership with Melissa BardColorado Mountain News Media, Steamboat Today and the Leadville Herald who generously gave in-kind contributions to the project, CMC is telling the stories of people who make the College increasingly First Choice. The campaign, a combination of newspaper and online advertising, will run through December. The current ad profiles Battle Mountain High School graduate Melissa Bard who found success after transferring because of dual enrollment classes at CMC:

While in high school, Melissa Bard took concurrent enrollment classes at CMC. She graduated from Battle Mountain High School with enough credits to enter the University of San Diego as a sophomore. CMC prepared her to excel academically –– Melissa was one of the top four students in the junior class at USD.

“I had a definite advantage. I felt so much prepared academically than a lot of my peers,” she says.
