CMC holds free fitness open house Jan. 14 in Glenwood Springs

Colorado Mountain College is now offering individuals an opportunity to sample Glenwood Springs fitness classes during a fitness open house on Jan. 14. The open house is free of charge and will take place from 9 a.m. to noon in the CMC Glenwood Center located at 1402 Blake Ave.

We've got room to move! The Glenwood Center's bright, airy, 850-square-foot studio gives everyone a comfortable amount of workout space. Try out any of the six sample classes for free during our fitness open house Jan. 14.the CMC Glenwood Center located at 1402 Blake Ave.

Fitness instructors will lead a 25-minute session that is representative of their classes. Sample classes include: Zumba & More (with Virginia Reynolds), Power Cardio (with Brittney Glock), Cardio Sports & Strength (with Brittney Glock), Ball-ercise (with Heidi Vosbeck), Simply Circuits (with Heidi Vosbeck), and Yoga (with Laurren Whistler).

Interested individuals are invited to drop in on as many sessions as they like. Participants are advised to come ready to work out with appropriate clothing and indoor shoes. They need only to sign a liability waiver in order to participate.

Most fitness classes in Glenwood Springs begin the week of Jan. 23. Those who want to sign up may do so at the open house or at the registration desk no later than two business days prior to the start date of the class.
