CMC ArtShare will host a free opening reception for “Beyond the Limits: Realistic Woodburnings and Radiant Inks,” unique pyrographic artwork from Minisa Robinson. Light refreshments will be served at the Nov. 2 reception at CMC ArtShare Gallery at Morgridge Commons in downtown Glenwood Springs.
Robinson works in many areas of art including oil painting, sketching, graphic arts, acrylic painting and alcohol inks. However, she is most known for her highly detailed realistic woodburnings, also known as pyrographic art, and has become a leader and teacher in her field. She pushes the limits of pyrography and encourages others to view the art in a new light.
The public is invited to attend the opening reception from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, Nov. 2, at the CMC ArtShare Gallery at Morgridge Commons, 815 Cooper Ave., 2nd Floor, Glenwood Springs.
