Thrift store donations to support CMC’s Adult Education programs
The Cheap Thrills Thrift Store will donate a portion of the store’s September proceeds to the student assistance fund for the CMC Roaring Fork Campus Adult Basic Education Programs. Fifty bags (trash bag size) or boxes are needed. Donations may consist of clothes, housewares, furniture, DVDs and books.
The RFC Learning Labs of Colorado Mountain College work with individuals on basic math and English skills and also helps them prepare for and pass their GED. Sweep out the closets and simplify at summer’s end – and help someone get their GED!
Donations are accepted daily at: The Cheap Thrills Thrift Store, 3103 Blake Ave., Glenwood Springs. Call 970. 947. 9394 for hours and info.
