Colorado Mountain College Steamboat Springs will present the Banff Mountain Film Festival World Tour, bringing the spirit of outdoor adventure to the campus the evening of Oct. 9.

Following the Banff Mountain Film Festival every fall in Banff, Alberta, Canada, the Banff Mountain Film Festival World Tour travels the globe with stops in about 450 communities and 40 countries. This year’s tour features a collection of films that explore the mountain world, highlighting new landscapes and remote cultures, and exposes audiences to exciting adventures and adrenaline-packed sports.

Doors will open at 6 p.m. and the films will run from 7 to 9 p.m. on Oct. 9 at CMC Steamboat’s Allbright Family Auditorium, 1275 Crawford Ave. Admission is $22 per person, available at Brown Paper Tickets. The event is sponsored by Mountain Gear, with local support from Colorado Mountain College and Alpine Bank.
