The Glenwood Springs Arts Council and Colorado Mountain College will present “A Woman’s Touch,” an opening reception featuring the work of three renowned Colorado artists, at the CMC Glenwood Center on June 14. The exhibit will remain on display through Aug. 30.
Printmaker Susan Oehme of Steamboat Springs is known statewide and nationally for her work and workshops, and is the master printer at Oehme Graphics.
Wendy Kowynia, also from Steamboat Springs, has 20 years of experience in mixed media and woven textiles; her work has appeared in juried national exhibitions.
Jane Lee from Glenwood Springs creates oil paintings that capture the natural beauty of her surroundings. She was awarded a National Show Award at the Salmagundi Club in New York, one of the oldest art organizations in the country.
The free opening for “A Woman’s Touch” will be June 14, from 6 to 8 p.m. Community members are invited and welcomed to attend.
