Jessica Lorah shares her expertise in business plans and financial management in two upcoming seminars at Colorado Mountain College in Carbondale.
Lorah coaches participants to develop an effective business plan in her Feb. 24 seminar, Writing and Following a Business Plan. The hands-on seminar analyzes the elements of a solid plan and shows how businesses can benefit from such a plan if it’s used as a daily operations guide.
In her Financial Management for Small Business seminar held March 3, Lorah reviews fundamentals such as start up financing, key decisions, accepting payments and tax considerations.
Lorah has a background in quality improvement, financial and operations management, strategic planning and organizational behavior. She was Colorado Mountain College’s adjunct faculty member of the year in 2008.
Both seminars take place on 2/24 and 3/4 from 6 – 9 p.m. at CMC’s Lappala Center in Carbondale (690 Colorado Avenue). They are open to new as well as seasoned businesspeople. Cost is $27 per workshop, and advance registration is required.
