Views from campuses at Leadville and Spring Valley make Denver 7 News
Two new weather cameras at Colorado Mountain College are becoming a regular part of the Denver evening news. Denver 7 News Meteorologist Mike Nelson approached CMC about installing a high-definition web camera at the campus in Leadville. An additional camera was also installed at Spring Valley, becoming part of the station’s 24/7 Weather Cam Family. In November, Colorado Mountain College’s weather cam in Leadville made its first public appearance on the 10pm news:

Thousands of Denver 7 News viewers now see the view from two Colorado Mountain College campuses several times a month. Each time the camera is used on air, Colorado Mountain College is shown on the graphic and mentioned by the weathercaster. Channel 7’s sister station in Colorado Springs, KRDO, also uses the cameras for its nightly news broadcasts.
