No longer requires library card number for remote access
The myCMC portal for students, staff and faculty has been upgraded to make remote access to library services much easier outside the CMC network. The initial version of myCMC required users to enter a library card number, causing difficulties for those off-campus who didn’t have a card or couldn’t easily obtain one. Now Web Developer Luke Snoddy has upgraded the system to automatically authenticate any user who has logged in to the myCMC portal.
“It will be really great to have easy and seamless remote access to the library through the portal,” says Virtual Librarian Yuliya Lef. “It’s just another venue for getting into our resources.”
Students and others with Blackboard accounts can also access the library from that online resource without additional login.
