Cleanup planned along CMC Spring Valley road Sept. 30

A private/public collaboration is being planned with Elk Springs subdivision and Colorado Mountain College when both entities hold the CMC Road Cleanup at Spring Valley on Friday, Sept. 30. In addition to Elk Springs residents and CMC students, faculty and staff, the public is invited to participate.

Three groups of volunteers will clean up three miles of the road known as CMC Road or County Road 114, which leads from Highway 82 to Colorado Mountain College Spring Valley. Water and snacks will be available along the route, and a complimentary lunch will be provided. After lunch, volunteers will clean up the road around campus.

The cleanup will run from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 30. All participants should meet at 10 a.m. at the Calaway Academic Center parking lot at CMC Spring Valley, 3000 County Road 114.
