Candy Elkind, a resource development officer with the CMC Foundation, was recently recognized by the Northwest Small Business Development Centers at the 2015 Mountain Town Business Women Awards in Vail. Elkind received the Creative Business Leader award, and was chosen from over 100 nominees from eight counties that comprise Colorado’s mountain towns. At her base in Breckenridge, Elkind develops funding for scholarships, helps with fundraising events and fosters collaborations in Summit, Lake and Chaffee counties for Colorado Mountain College.
