Reason for Nomination: I know I’m not the only one who could make this nomination for part-time IT programmer Don Claussen. Across the college, it seems, Don has made or is working on a number of different fixes that have helped us all do a better job ourselves of helping students. I myself have observed him tackling one major project that will hopefully improve the import process for class schedule production, such that the college won’t have to be dependent upon an outside vendor. While working on this, he helped me and others find a work-around for a long-standing Informer-Excel import problem (Thank you – thank you – thank you for that!!) Don has been very attentive, thorough and responsive. Great job, Don! We’re glad you’re here!
